Welcome to Respectify. These terms explain how you’re allowed to use our service. By using Respectify, you agree to these terms.

What We Do

Respectify helps website owners keep their comment sections civil. We use AI to filter out spam, hate speech, low-effort nonsense, and troll behavior. The goal is to make the internet suck a little less.

Paying for What You Use

Respectify is pay as you go. You add money to a prepaid balance, and each request is charged at the price on our pricing page. Requests that fail aren’t charged. If your balance can’t cover a request, we turn it down until you top up. We may change prices; a change applies only to requests made after we publish it.

Account Responsibility

You’re responsible for keeping your account login credentials safe. Anything that happens under your account is your responsibility—even if someone else did it.

Fair Use

If we detect behavior that abuses our systems—like trying to flood us with fake comments or use automated tools to game our moderation—we may throttle, limit, or shut down your access. Use it like a normal person.

Termination

We can suspend or terminate your account if you break these terms, abuse the service, or try to sneak around the rules, including trying to avoid paying for what you use.

If your account is closed, for any reason, any unused balance is not refunded. If you want a refund under our Refund Policy, ask for it before you close your account.

Service Availability & Changes

We’ll do our best to keep Respectify running smoothly, but we may update, change, or remove features at any time.

Top-ups and Automatic Top-ups

Top-ups are one-time payments, processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Your balance never expires. If you turn on automatic top-up, we’ll charge your saved payment method the amount you chose whenever your balance falls below the level you set. You can change or turn off automatic top-up anytime on your Billing page.

API Use

If you use our API, don’t abuse it. Don’t hammer our servers, don’t try to reverse-engineer our moderation decisions, and don’t use it in ways we didn’t intend. We reserve the right to limit or suspend API access if needed.

Your Data

We don’t collect personal data. We do keep the comments we moderate and the evaluations we make on them (e.g., “this is spam,” “this is fine”). But we don’t know who wrote what, and we don’t want to.

No Guarantees

We try to keep Respectify running smoothly, but:

  • We don’t guarantee uptime.
  • We’re not responsible if our service misses something awful or blocks something nice.
  • You use Respectify as-is and at your own risk.

Liability

Respectify, Inc. is not liable for any damages, losses, or issues that come from using (or not being able to use) our service. You agree not to sue us for anything related to Respectify.

Respectify, Inc. is a Delaware C-Corp. If there’s a legal dispute, it’ll be handled in Delaware under Delaware law.

Changes to These Terms

We might update these terms from time to time. If we do, we’ll post the new version on our website. If you keep using Respectify after that, it means you accept the new terms.
